World of Warcraft revisited

Soooo since noone seem to want to start a post anyone acually interested in starting some wow again?

we can decide on a server and people can lvl new toons transfer old toons whatever everyone wants to do to kill this boredom

so first whos up for it?

I'll do it on a couple of conditions.

Its horde only

we do 2-3 nights only and lvl up as a group together.

We start from scratch.

I'm up for it, since someone mentioned possibly revisiting it my interest has peaked (already downloading the game). Just waiting for the decision on who, when and where.

I think i'll be starting afresh so it keeps the game more enjoyable for longer, i like adagios idea about playing a few nights a week and not full on (altho once i'm hooked playing full on kinda happens )

Agree on the horde bit for sure, i know they lifted it ages ago so you could level a horde toon on the same server as ally, but i never actually did it cause i lacked other people to do it with. Puts a fresh spin on it, and the old arguements of server balance and not going horde cause horde outnumber alliance 2:1 is kinda mute cause most end game pve/pvp happens through instanced systems

Yeah like I said the other night thats what I want to avoid. I do it with Minecraft all the time. I play constantly then burn out whereas i should probably play a few games a week and keep going longer.

think I heard something about a free uppgarde to cataclysm for all that resub, is that still on?

If you use a SoR that someone gives you, you get a full upgrade to Cata and a free level up on any character to 80.

I doubt there will be many people playing much WoW in November bud, GW2 will probably be out by then and I can't imagine WoW will be in the front of many peoples minds.

I believe the scroll business started early march so that leaves you 2 months to take advantage of this.
