    The first ever and only

    Boon Control Minecraft de_dust2 ww2 weapons mo'creatures 10 minute deathmatch invitational.

    Either tonight or tomorrow night the minecraft server will be hosting a deathmatch tornament on a de_dust2 map using world war 2 guns and random mo creatures running about. Winner will receive the coveted "Boon Control minecraft de_dust2 ww2 guns mo'creatures 10 min deathmatch invitational winner" trophy and forum tag.

    Well due to 1.8 ballsing up the server we may as well destroy it... again. Sign your name here.

    I'm gona deagle/awp your ass omni.... 8 bit style.

    Actually.... with my current photo-realism texture pack, this version of Dust in minecraft will actually probably look better than the old 1.4/1.5 version I used to play.

    Now thats something impressive. i used to play aroud with hi-res texture packs for heroes of newerth too when i played it back then...
    I guess the 128x128 would be inbetween both img qualities :)
    I honestly didn't expect the result to be so good :p

    Yea, the only reason I switched back to 64x64 was because the 128x128 and the 256x256 took some of the charm out of the game for me. So I went back to a slightly lower resolution, but its still much higher and much prettier than the standard.

    reckon it'd be possible to add a gun barrel like uhm flash or fire coming out? Or totally turn the gun into a 2D sprite?

    Everything in minecraft is generally made of blocks so effects like muzzle flashes are generally a no no.

    Server will be changing over to the weapons mod about 4pm this afternoon so I can iron out any bugs. Also a mod will be added so you can easily give yourself guns for this event but you must learn the guns code.
