Hello, So I was hoping to get in on GW2 launch to meet up with Boon courtesy of a new job and consequent shiney new PC. What happened was the interest free credit people said fuck off and I had to wait 9 months to save up the monies and a super new machine is now on it's way to me and I can maybe join in with some fun. How did GW2 work out, worth playing? What else are you playing? What is next on the agenda? Can I be your friend?
Hey buddy. GW2 was fun for 5-6 months but was ultimately too casualcore for the most BOON of BOONs, many of whom gave up after a month. Currently we are split among different games, some still playing GW2 as part of other guild, some playing various MOBAs, and some are looking at trying WoW again for a few months (myself included) All this whilst we wait for Wildstar which will be BOONs next big adventure and should be a good one (I predict glorious giggles from the Ludus crew as they gank some poor unprepared nublettes)
How was TERA, anyone still playing that? I am also curious about secret world or something equally different from the run of the mill, any suggestions?
TERA is a great game. The only issue with it is it gets a bit samey and if your playing it hardcore, you can get bored after a few months. If your playing it at a reasonable pace, you should get 6months out of it at least, more if you enjoy the combat style and your a fan of dungeon crawling. Secret World is one of those "had potential, but Funcom" games. On paper its amazing, in practice it would look more at home in the 90's. If your one of those people who enjoy self harm, this could be the game for you, if not, then avoid it like the plague.
