Anyone been watching 'The Trip' on BBC2 ? It's a road trip with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon playing caricatures of themselves - all they do is go to restaurants up-north and argue, bit patchy but when they start doing impersonation one-upmanship it's bloody hilarious. (check out the Pierce Brosnan Bond impersonation it's spot on). Most of them are still on iplayer if you want to catch up.
How have I not heard of this show. I was rofling the whole way through that youtube vid. Stephen Hawking, so wrong yet soo funny, and Brosnan was spot of, epic lulz.
I don't think it was advertised enough, a lot of people have missed it. As I said I think most, if not all, of the episodes are still on BBC iPlayer. It's not all as funny as that clip but still worth watching for the scenery, restaurants and their banter. There's one bit when they are in the car where Brydon keeps reading out the restaurant reviews while doing a really funny Anthony Hopkins voice and then they do competing Michael Caine impersonations, very funny.
