Step 1. Obtain a copy of VAC (virtual Audio Cable) full version unless you like "TRIAL" playing in your ears every 10 seconds. Step 2. install In TS make sure output is set to your headset not default Load up VAC control panel and 2 copies of the Audio repeater (you may have 2 types, KS and MME, load one of each) In the KS version select wave in as your sound card ("Realtek HD Audio Stereo Input" for me) Select output as "Virtual Cable 1" In the MME version select input as Line 1 (VAC) output as your headset. select Line 1 as your default playback device in your sounds control panel. Press start on both repeaters. Now TS goes direct to your headset whilst system sounds get routed to line 1 then routed again to headset. Xsplit picks up the default which is now line 1. Hope that makes sense for a quick guide.
Is there any way to not stream any sound from my microphone at all? Because its always on and if i feel talking kinky with my GF while streaming i cant.. I use xsplit
doh.. lol So if i do what fizee said i can talk and stream and be TS without it going out on the stream?
Alternatively.... Go to control panel. Right click your speakers and click "set as default device". Rick click your headset and click "set as default communication device". Mute microphone on XSplit. Congratulations, you now have all TS sound coming through headset and all game sound going to you speakers. This means zero TS on your stream and no delay in gamesounds.
This is good unless you have big headphones that block out outside sound, then you end up being unable to hear the game sound yourself and can only hear TS. Works for the sake of streaming though.
You can't wear 2 headsets at once and hear properly Either way, this has been posted for people who want to do it, doesn't mean you have to if you prefer to have sounds coming from 2 sources.
