http://store.steampowered.com/ 66% on Darksiders II 50% on The Walkind Dead 33% on XCOM (tic tac tic tac)
"Piracy is so old fashioned", I wouldn't play any of the shit games even if they were free. Good games are ofc worth paying for. I mean why wouldn't you want to support something good?
Theres plenty of good games for extremely cheap(id say 50% of the stuff i have on steam is indie titles) but i guess you''d pirate those too?
And if they are bad you just steal them, seems really fair. Watch "WTF is..." or anything similar and you are not buying blindly anymore. Just my 2 cents, cba explaining it anymore ;/
I don't hate piracy but ive got to the point ill only buy games when im pretty sure ill enjoy and if i can't afford it ill just wait till the steam sale
Guys, Shut the fuck up and talk about the steam sale. No one needs to show off how tall their horse is, and no one gives a shit if you know how to get stuff for free... guess what WE ALL FUCKING KNOW. Now, If you don't already have Fallout 3, get it... £3.74 is an absolute bargin Limbo is only £3.49 and is a lovely little indie game Xcom is reasonable at £20.09 for a new game title. But the best deal IMHO Garry's Mod @ only £1.49! that's less than a Pint of Coke.
I would have you all know my horse is pretty fookin high ...i should really start using steam at some point...
I used to download some games and feel a little bad about it, but steam has changed all that. Picked up 16 games in the August sale and still haven't played them all. Think I paid 10 or 15 euro for Saints Row the Third which is worth three times that. Darksiders 2 was like a tenner too .... each one I picked up was worth more than I paid for them. Arguing that the games are shit is irrelevant, since you shouldn't want to play them *OR* rip them off if they are so shit. So assuming we're talking about good games... it's unfair to do anything other than pick these games up for these prices. Dancing between on thread and off-thread there... I'll certainly have a good look at that sale. Will definitely pick up the Walking Dead stuff.... was very tempted before. Christ I've only opened it now while writing this.... Max Payne 3.. 12.49 euro! Let me get my credit card. Gurth
Ok that's the following bought: Mark of the Ninja Walking Dead Max Payne 3 Total: 32 euro Enough said.
I'm struggling to find something to play during off-GW hours. Just replayed most of Skyrim, the 3 original X-Com games and been Dota'ing a fair bit, but there's this void Guess I'll have to wait til the 12th for Darkfall Unholy Wars :<
To be honest i felt tempted to buy one or two games but i don't have much free time, my gaming time is fully filled -.-
