Amazon beginning to take pre-orders. Guild Wars 2 may launch June 30, according to a date available on Amazon.de.The Dutch branch of Amazon has already begun taking pre-orders for ArenaNet's upcoming MMO, suggesting Guild Wars 2 will see a release relatively soon.However speaking with Massively, publisher NCsoft West stated there is no official release date for the title."We have not released an official launch date within 2012 as feedback from our closed and open marketing betas will help us determine an exact release date. There's not a single official or unofficial release date, nor any information about cost and collector's edition. I wouldn't recommend any pre-ordering for that reason. But there's a lot to look forward to this weekend when the Press gets to play the demo, and in march the Open Beta =D

Even the GW2 Community Team have said that there will be no Open Beta, basically it stemmed from certain media outlets after the Year of the Dragon Blog Post by MO getting the wrong end of the stick, hence the internet moron was born!
There is no Dutch branch of Amazon... The german branch, however, does have it listed at june 31th. This says exactly nothing. They just input any date in the system (end of Q2 in this respect) to get pre-orders in. Same with books, oh how many times they shifted "A dance with dragons' release date forwards... (and then proceeded to send my copy 2 weeks before release date lolol)

HoM finished. Just need to spend the time to get gwamm, which shouldn't take long. Related to release date. Wait for official word from ArenaNet.
