Just read on the official forums of a "fix" for the bugging wz wins not recording which is as simple as untracking it from your log. Open quest log Click on daily/weekly (may work for ilum kills too... not sure) Click the little track box on bottom left. Hopefully that works but not tested it myself.
sounds good to give it a go will try it for ilum too because i was noticing at times i was getting kills, dealing out the damage but not getting credit when the players died, i thought it was cause of some sort of diminishing returns tho as it was when i killed people i had previously killed 2-3 times.
I untrack my quests all the time due to ilum and lag, and since we started going ilum everyday I've never had a problem with wz's not counting, so it's likely this does work.
Ilum is not bugged btw only the guy/group who did the first bit of Dmg gets the kill, so just tag the enemys with AOW's
I know for a fact this is not true. I've helped some people while they were fighting (or running from ) a 1 on 1 and got credit for a kill multiple times.
I think Ilum Valour gain is based on u doing a certain amount/percentage of the damage on someone that subsequently dies. Dosent have to be the first or last blow, whilst solo in Ilum (in the zerg but not part of it) I have received the same valour from a solo kill on 1 Rep as I do from each of the 5 Reps I may partially damage with a trinketed AOE (assuming its early doors and none are on DR)
well, it worked for me, 3days ago i was doing weekly i had to win 15 times to get my 9 quest wins. when i saw this post and stopped tracking the dailies ALL wins registered to my quest. maybe it is pure luck.
