sPvP Nec team (temporary name)

So, i need 3 serious players that wants to join me and Syralia for >>A SERIOUS<< sPVP team for release. We will start with easy training, just two times a week, but as soon as the team starts to work well together, we will raise the training days to 3/4 a week.

We dont need strong players, we need someone that wants to work hard and get better with us, not a ragequitter and not someone that gives up easily. We aim to be a top team, and with a lot of training we can do that, but we need someone that will really believe in this also.

Anyway for now the main cht roster is:

Necrionet: necromancer
Syralia: mesmer
Chowder: guardian
Melody:thief
Hightimes:warrior
Klecksi:elementalist/engineer
Vrasku:Thief/ Necro / Mesmer and Guard
Seems pretty good formation to start with anyway ^^.

I'm gonna be playing guardian. Problem is I'm going to have some school stuff the first few weeks of September, so I won't be able to log in as much (I might be able to do like 2-3h/day), but I'm ready to go more hardcore afterwards.

I might be interested too, gonna play Thief if that fits into you team.

Sounds interesting. So far I played Necro, but I wouldn't mind playing Enigneer or Elementalist.

As i said above we will start easy before go in full hardcore mode training, to give ppl the time to know each other and get used to the game. An for one of the best chanter of telemachus There is always a free spot in my team ^^.

Guys, keep in mind that gw2 spvp is going to have an everchanging metagame, more based on "role" instead of class. I mean, even a guardian can be a point older, but what if after a skill rebalancing, it comes out a stronger elementalist build for the point older role? Simple, the point older of the team must create an ele and learn to play that build, so be' ready to change class even each month( in gw1 skill are balanced monthly).

I will organize a meeting One of these days in ts so we can chat a little and start to know each other. After that i will inform hsulf of the official born of the nec team.

I do believe Thief will always fit in the meta, but i can adapt is something is changing.

fully agree on the team name. i actually used to have a guild named like that in aion!
@nec: (i dunno how to multiquote) ty for all that guardian seems to be pretty good atm tho, as far as i could tell. I've been either 1st or 2nd on my team each time I've played sPvP, but I'm obvioulsy up to experiment and learn something new in order to have a strong team. You don't actually need to level up or anything, so it's not like it takes anything other than training. Might actually be a chance to use all the skins we get , that we can't use on our mains

Anyway, let me clarify something:

1) This is not MY team, is OUR team, so we discuss and decide everything together, >>BUT<< every strong team have a leader, that take decision and lead in battle, so the last word for EVERITHING (build,role,tactics,reserve,training schedule etc.) is mine (dont worry too much about this, im a very reasonable persone ^^ ).

2)As skirmishers, we are going to play a lot of wvw also, and if we prove worthy, we are going to be a "spec ops" team, so do not join if you don't want to play wvw.

3)This would be a meritocracy based team, so if you skip training, if you dont write on the forums,if you are "lazy", you will probably stay a lot of time on the bench (this is true even for myself ofc).

4) we will suck A LOT at the beginning, so if you plan to leave after 10 or 20 losses because we are noob, then >>>dont join<<<. To reach the top, it will take a lot of time, efforts, training and patience. Really, dont join this team if you want to win right out of the box.

5) ofc, if your main class is in the actual metagame, you will be the one that will play it, but remember, if your class is not on the metagame, get ready to roll another one.

6)No whiners, ragequitter, troll!! We win and we loss with style. If someone try to provoke/troll you, you simply SHUT THE FUCK UP, and ignore him.

When do you have the meeting planned?
I think a good thing after we take a loss is to ask everyone to say what they think what went wrong, and try to come up with different strategys/fixes before we take on the next enemies

I didnt decide it yet, i will post soon some available date/time and we try to pick the one we can come all.

10 August to 21 august ill be on holiday so if we can do before it would be awesome.

If your still looking for players I would be up for it, I'd play any class that was needed, but out of personal pref would be Thief/ Necro / Mesmer and Guard. And have plenty time to play..

For an healty team, the ideal is 5 players and 2/3 reserve. After release we will decide the team formation as i said above, so if you want we have still 2 spot left ^^

Ok, for the meeting day, i can be online on Teamspeak everyday between 20.00 gmt+1 and 01.00 gmt+1, and all the weekend, so all the interested please post a day and an hour end we will chose the one where more ppl can partecipate.
