I was wandering what songs are on your playlists? I'm mostly listening to Rap but when I play I prefer something faster and different like Offspring, Muse, Dragonforce, Linking Park etc. So what are you listening to?
In general, when I'm playing I listen to only electronic dance/techno/trance because it lets me focus on the game rather than the music. Sure, I listen to it a lot otherwise too, but it's really amazing game music.
I tend to listen to my own, Ive been known to play a whole 4 hour raid in WoW, listening to the same 4bar loop. 17 year old Madeon..Play this FUCKING LOUD!!!!!!!!!!! The Durex Advert is well worth watching as well
Depends on what I am playing and what mood I am in. Like if I am playing Starcraft 2 I will either not listen to anything because I suck at it and need to focus to not majorly suck, or else I will listen to something with decent bass to keep a tempo going. Not dubstep though, I hate all things dubstep. If I am playing an MMO, usually 90's punk or any form of rock/metal. If I am playing TERA or ArcheAge, then KPOP, to get the full immersion feeling.
i feel sooo epic listening to this kind of music while gaming, even digging up dirt in Mine Craft feels so awesome
Dunno if I've said it before but: the in-game music/sounds, anything else is distracting or you miss those small delicate sounds like stealthers behind you and so on.
I sometimes try and listen to some D&B or whatever, but I nearly always turn it off after a few mins so I don't miss the atmosphere or immersion in what i'm playing. Unless ofc your just doing repetitive faction grind, etc.
Completely varies for me depening on my mood. Daft Punk and Grendel are my 2 favourites at the moment
Pretty much this, if I'm doing PvP or anything that requires full attention I don't listen to anything, but I'd go insane if I had to gather herbs without music
Deadmau5 for e.g or any progressive house! I actually sometimes play with in game sound off and only music, sounds mental but after a while your focus goes trough the roof! can take a while to get used to tho.
