The original was the first video game to ever use Bullet Time believe it or not. Loved the original and this one looks pretty good too.
The original was a console game, the last one was console, so this one will probably be a console game too. Lets hope its a decent port and not a Dead Island style port.
Max payne 1&2 were made for pc and months later ported to xbox/ps2 Max payne 3 is being made for xbox by the looks of it (The large Xbox, XBL, PS, PS3, PSN then pc looking bland all on its own.) not to mention the making of video is clearly xbox footage. ALSO just read that RS vancouver is taking the helm this time (they did the console ports for mp 1&2) I hope that rockstar don't just port to pc, as pc -> console ports work ok, console -> pc ports are so often fucked over by consoles shite power and control system.
God that main theme brings back so many memories... I loved Max Payne 1, one of the games that brought me into pc gaming after doom and heretic.
I always thought it was PS2 before PC. I had it on both platforms and the PS2 version played so much better than the PC one which is why I always thought it came first.
Nope, ps2 came out about3 months after the pc version. Never played ps2 version so couldn't say, but the pc version was superb.
Wow you'd pay 73 Euro's in American currency, as opposed to the European price of 109.99.. thats 36,- Euro difference, you could buy another standard edition from that. What a joke.
