I'm kinda stuck with my tailoring currently and can't figure out anything else to do, than the bags. One bag is made of 20 silk scraps (which are easy) and one major rune of holding. The rune however costs 50 silver, so making them is a bit slow. I've offered to make them for guildies for just the mats, but I think there's might be a slight owerflow of them, so there are no takers. Anyone who has levelled tailoring up from 250 to 275, any tips to get past that gap? I assume it gets temporarily easier after that again. Should I just keep on making bags?
I used the same pattern for every crafting tier, first 25+ points just by crafting 200+ scraps, then i craft a few insignas (not more than necessary as u will need the mats for higher quality insignas) and i combine them with armor pieces in the discovery panel. Usually u automatically learn new insignas every 25 lvls, so i just keep making those insignas and keep discovering new recipes. There are so many insignas for every tier that u will never run out of new recipes by combining them for all 6 armor pieces.
Hm, I must be missing a tons then. I though I discovered them all. I'm not really buying any rare mats, since they're rather expensive at the broker, just used the ones I've looted myself. Need more pve I guess... :/
As far as I could see so far there's a different insignia for each different blue mat (blood, fang, scale, etc.) so it should be ok. I'm struggling as well though as I don't have enough mats and have to either go and farm more or buy some but I'll get there xD
one of the easiest methods ive found for getting globs of ecto was to make the cheapest rare using 15blue fines (large bones were very cheap back then) and salvage with +magic find to get globs of ecto, not the most profitable but great for sourcing mats for your own exotics.
