is it possible to mix the Stats and get bonus stats? or do we have to pick one type to get bonus stat?

There is no bonus stats on the items, you get them by adding runes so feel free to mix It.

need top tips on getting the globs of ectoplasm, any pointers? i know they are salavagable from 70+ yellow rares but any other surefire way?

Im farming t5/6 mats in wvw next to SE camp (borderlands) on wasps or something and buy ectos for what i earn there. If you are lucky you get some good drops too.

I bought ectoplasm for 16s each on the broker last night. You could also check for exotic gear on the broker think its down to 30s for a lvl 70-76
