Downloaded the game , then started it again , all i got to see was the "file check" for the download with a 4 min timer to complete it ... After that it started downloading the entire 8 gigs again ... wth ... Anone had this problem?
I did recovery , stays the same still downloads the entire game , been trying to fix this since i came back from work... Atm trying to move some files as someone said it worked for couple of people on tirion forums ...
Hmmm not good hope you've got a fast connection...I've got this uncontrollable urge to press the recover button again now!!! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo I think that recover button deletes files if it finds a problem go into the assets folder and open the folders inside they should have audio.pak in the audio 1 etc some have multiples some have just 1
Well I had the 9gbs DL this morning and when I tried to launch the game said the version didnt match the game version, so I closed the launcher and then opened it again, there was a patcher update, and then started from scratch again, which scared me, so I clicked on recover, and it was only 2.2gb missing so I downloaded those GBs. My guess is that Trion uploaded a new patcher version while people was downloading and from that point everything downloaded with the old patcher is not working and needs to be downloaded again from that point, but that was for me, luckily was only 2.2gb...
Yep, after reading your post i vent to the rift instalation folder... found a download folder with 2 files inside , one was 6.2g and the other one 134mb , so i just copy'd the bigger folder into the new one and restarted the download with about 2gigs .....
