[GW1] For those that need money to unlock stuff for the HoM...

Now that it's Halloween, there is a quest you can farm quite easily, an sell the items you get out of it (trick or treat bags) to players for some decent money.
Requirements: 7 heroes in your party (even better, using my own hero builds), access to Lion's Arch and Temple of Ages, and a Transmogriefer Tonic to start the whole thing (if you need one, message Seba Z ingame).

So here's what you have to do.
1) Go to Lion's Arch and take the quest Something Wicked This Way Comes from Mad King's Steward; Go to Temple of Ages, use a Transmogriefer Tonic and talk to Voice of Grenth to start the quest.
Once you've completed the quest, return to Lion's Arch to get your reward.

2) Go to Lion's Arch and take the quest Don't Fear the Reapers from Mad King's Steward; Go to Temple of Ages, use a Transmogriefer Tonic and talk to Voice of Grenth to start the quest.
Once you've completed the quest, return to Lion's Arch to get your reward.

3) Go to Lion's Arch and take the quest Stemming the Skeletal Tide from Mad King's Steward; Go to Temple of Ages and talk to Voice of Grenth to gain access to the Underworld (you will pay 1k to do that, but you will make it back at the end of the quest).
Complete the quest by capturing Skeletons of Dhuum inside the Everlasting Mobstoppers you were given. To do that, double click the item in your inventory when you're near an almost dead skeleton (remember to move your heroes away from the skeleton before they finish it off. You could also use your heroes just to kill all the other mobs, while engaging the skeletons 1v1 using my Spirit Spammer build).
Once you've completed the quest, return to Lion's Arch to get your reward.

4) Go to Lion's Arch and take the quest Every Bit Helps from Mad King's Steward, that will give you three more Everlasting Mobstoppers. Go to your quest panel and abandon the quest you've just taken, then switch Lion's Arch district and retake the quest. Repeat the process untill you have a lot of Everlasting Mobstoppers.
Once you have all those Everlasting Mobstoppers, go back to Temple of Ages and talk to Voice of Grenth to gain access to the Underworld. Trap as many Skeletons of Dhuum as you can, then go back to Lion's Arch and get the quest's reward. Switch district, retake the quest and retake the reward.

5) Once you're done farming the Every Bit Helps quests, you can sell your Trick or Treat Bags to players (best place to do that is Kamadan). Player will be willing to pay between 20k and 40k for 250 Trick or Treat Bags.

notes:
- You will be able to farm these quests until the end of the Halloween event, on Wednesday November 2.
- The price of the Trick or Treat bags will go down with each day the event is in effect, so you better start farming soon if you want the money now.
Otherwise, you can keep the Trick or Treat bags and sell them in a few months, when the price will start to go up again.
- this is of course just farming, so expect it to be boring and repetitive. But if you're not familiar with Guild Wars' farming ways, it's an easy way to get a lot of money. I made around 800k last year just from farming this quest and selling the bags to players.

Thanks for the Tip, sadly i dont think i have the energy to get 50/50. solo PVE is boring , i am using Discordway pve team build and it is boring i just spam 4 win buttons

i am following this guide http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guide_to_earning_Hall_of_Monuments_rewards to get my 30 point, still slacking hard tho, i only finished EOTN & Nightfall and finishing the rest of the content.

I'm satisfied with my DoA speed clears which is way more fun.

70-140k gold a hour.

But ye this farm is very good if you want some fast money.

Speed clears have one problem: needs a guild/team to do

btw sebaz, how do you get 4 monk heroes ? you bought a mercenary slot ?

Got all the money I needed from glint afk farm.

You can change Razah's profession and make him your fourth monk.

You use your heroes to do the dirty job while you go away for 20 min.

So much fun with amazing money return.
Was 37 minutes for the run but I was slow on the screen shot :/

If anyone ever get's to this level of speed clear knowledge suggest you look out a guild that do Domain of Anguish speed clears.

I still have gem sets sitting in my storage doing nothing if anyone wants to buy them, let me know. Nerien, I could give them to you, you sell them and gimme a share . Unfortunately I don't have time to play much these days, so can't be arsed selling them in Kamadan or anywhere else.

I'm soo close to getting GWAMM right now. I just need drunk/party/sweet and I tried to get it this Halloween trough farming, but somehow I didn't get enough done. That Glint Challenge farm is awesome though, thx for sharing. I just shouldn't forget to set a timer otherwise you'll lose the chest =/
