Novatech are very good, not always the cheapest, but as they are just a couple miles down the road from me, I use them a lot. Their own brand stuff is always pretty good too,
hmmmm a fellow bristolian ... interesting ^^ p.s overclockers are good but they specialise more in desktop builds, but whatever you do don't get it delivered pick it up from them, their delivery guys suck at not destroying stuff...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-Ideapad-15-6-inch-Laptop-Gunmetal/dp/B00829IDN2 I bough this. amazing laptop. + 42" plasma for gaming - ftw. Lenovo = IBM.
I know you've specified laptop, but in terms of bang for buck on systems check out these mini itx lan systems they're semi-portable
hehe thanks Warprophet, but it has to be a laptop hehe. How good are Alienwares? Is it a waste of money to buy?
What Tal means is yes they're a waste of money new, but if you find a good one in the Dell outlet you can get a pretty nice deal sometimes. They're usually refurbished or returns.
http://www.novatech.co.uk/laptop/range/novatechnspiren1707.html going to go for this, I still have £300 extra, so if anyone has a better idea please let me know, trying to order it today, thanks a lot all for the input!
There isn't really any amazing offers at this moment on Dell outlet, but they appear every day. The novatech isn't too bad for the money actually.
Got a laptop that I linked, which came with an upgraded CPU, 2.3GHz instead of 2.1GHz, a 16GB memory stick for £2(from £7) and a £30 discount . I forgot to mention it's for my brother, he's going to uni. Nice people, thanks a lot for the recommendation Ave I just ordered it and it will be here tomorrow.
