    I thought Rocket was a pretty awesome dude from his conference video, but with this statement " So we price it low, so everyone can play. Everyone does. We make money, game is good. I drive Maserati and get herpies. Everyone wins.". I think the guy is a true Legend.. :)

    Moving towards all buildings being enterable.

    Always knew "can't be done" was just an excuse for "lazy as fuck" whenever anyone asked devs of certain big fps games why their towns/cities have non-enterable buildings.

    Rocket seems to be making the game as a gamer and not as a developer, which is excellent for us. Finally a game made to be good, not made to meet shareholders.

    Massive expectations for this game and cannot wait to play it.

    The mod dayz will hit steam for the first time tonight. It's just the mod, but it's a good sign the standalone will be on steam too.

    Arma 3 will be a steam exclusive. This will allow steam works to be used for the easy implementation of mods. Could Dayz be a steam exclusive?

    They already said Dayz Standalone will use steam technology for server browsing etc afaik, so i guess yes it will be a steam exxclusive.

    Yeah but Arma 3 will be a steam exclusive. Where keys will only be given to valve. Normally it means you can buy the keys anywhere then use them on steam so everyone gets a cut. This just limits it to valve and bohemia.

    It's got nothing to do with Bohemia.. they have developed a new engine from scratch so no reliance on Arma, or Bohemia for the standalone.

    Compared to Arma3. This looks disappointing graphics wise.

    They should spend as much time as they want to get the complete package. People will always wait for quality products.

    Atm standalone is using Real Virtuality 3 game engine and Arma 3 us using Real Virtuality 4 engine. That's the difference between those two.
