Anyone who still plays LoL, Riot are removing the option to pay for RP (Riot Points) using the Polish currency on the EUWest server (the server that everyone plays on). This will take effect on the 21st September. They are saying that it is because they are moving support for Polish players to EUNordic, so this means the Polish currency support is no longer needed on EUWest (which has a massive player base compared to EUNordic), but its actually because paying in PLN when you buy RP instead of GBP or EUROS is cheaper. So basically they are forcefully increasing the cost of RP under the false image of giving Polish players a better service on EUNordic, when most Polish players play on EUWest and are refusing to take the free transfer to EUNordic because the servers there are dead. So if your still playing LoL, buy your RP now using PLN to get a good deal before Riot change it. Polish gamers are True Men (tm), at least in my experience. They will raid the Riot offices. It will be brutal.
Its to do with currency conversion rates and taxes and all that stuff. Tbh, I honestly don't know why it is cheaper, but I can buy £45 worth of RP in PLN and it costs me like £37 or something. Its not a HUGE saving, not like your getting it half price or anything, but it is cheaper, so if you do buy RP, its worth doing it now before the option is removed.
i play on EUNE anyway so it wont go away for me, but still 10euro=40PLN and 1780RP=10euro/40PLN so no change
I have no idea why but i cant see this thread in 'What's new' section and that's probably why i missed it 0o You ask what i think of that? Well I always try to avoid Polish community as much as i can and i hate on them (us?). So as a player i would be glad that even less Poles would play where i play but then if i want to buy RP i have to pay more than before, kinda fucked up i have to say. Its cheaper coz our average salary is pretty low and what is cheap for you is expensive for most of Polish people. For example i have to pay around 40/50€ for games on steam and i can buy them here for 20/30€ when i pay in PLN (games are still on Steam)

I find myself playing more and more games the last few days again.. Kind of.. nothing to do @ GW2. My class is 110% into bugs, I'm not much of a WvW zergfest guy so yeah, hopefully they'll fix some stuff soon.
There are like 3 or 4 of us playing atm Asta. Nothing hardcore, just a few games each night for lulz. The option to buy in PLN is still there. They have either changed their mind on the idea due to pressure from Polish players who will remain on EUWest, or it will be removed with the new champion patch. Either way, still cheap RP to be had if your an RP buyer.
