The only problem I had with rift is that I had done it all before with wow. I guess this could be the trouble with most mmos down the line.

hehe, i cant say i didnt enjoy some of the Rift stuff, i just stopped playing because the prospects of future fun were, let's say ... low :p.

Aion had its problems but if you wanted to fight/ gank asmos ( although its like a marathon where you face old age ppl as opponents) and to do sieges that game could be very, very interesting.

the worst game i have ever played, was by far
Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits

there's just no other that can even get close to the amount of crap that game was, but i finished that damn thing. although my neurons started a civil war, then started suiciding at the cliff of perseverance, while they were melting and imploding in the process.

I tend to forget bad games quite quickly (apart from MMO's you spend 100's of hours to find out its shit), so I had to open my closet and look through the dust to find bad games. Seems like I couldn't find any, maybe I just don't buy really bad games. However I'm sure I've played some really bad games before, and usually the worst games I can think of are movie spinoffs, or bad ports, bad sport games.

    Hello all..

Mine worst paid for for game would be Sacred 2 it was so awful i played it for 5mins total before i nearly puke of dissappointment i spent four minutes in char creation.
went running back to the store.

i love playing FF11 online for three years but it turnned sour with the MOB steallers & gill Seallers.

I would have to say Mirrors Edge, simply because I rarely pay for games. In hindsight I should have realized that EA being the publishers would force gun combat in (I remember hearing about it from the devs when it was in early development "AWW WE'RE MAKING A GRAPHICAL PARKOUR GAME HOW BADASS IS THAT") because it's a first-person game, and first person games are first person shooters!
Not to mention that from that experience I realized that having to accurately judge distance in first person games is _fucking impossible_.
    Cool concept, sad execution.

Also: "Users found this page by searching for: rift worst game ever"
    Great stuff.

Are you kidding? Mirrors edge is AWESOME.

Love it, it's something different yet really good fun.

Yeah it's... Different, allright. It's always cool when people try to make new games with odd concepts, but it was an overall poor execution. DICE didn't want to have shooting in the game and anyone that played it would see that it would be much more fluid without it. The whole parkour thing _looked_ and felt really cool, but all problems invoked so much frustration because they had little to do with skill and more to do with dumb unluckyness. The latest Prince of Persia had jumping puzzles in first/third person (I think) and made you restart on your latest safe spot making the whole "DOH!" feeling go away a bit, or at least so I heard (don't quote me on it).

It felt very intuitive to me to play and I enjoyed it all the way through.
Then again I'm a huge sucker for dystopian films/games which might have coloured me a bit :p

Also I paid like £5 for it on a steam offer.

That was another thing that bugged me (but only after the Zero Punctuation review) was that we never knew why the evil guys were evil. I mean, at least you can't claim the city wasn't _clean_ :p

It was an Orwellian society trying to eliminate free thinking etc etc, by default that makes them evil :p

Alone in the Dark the one from 2008. By far the worst game I ever bought...
The controls and storyline was just shiiiit....

    Second: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising....
Just didnt like it, nothing more to say.

Mirror's Edge was cool, untill I came to the point where you had the way to fast parkour enemies...
