    If any other game had panda's i'd be insta playing it......

    On another thought, imagine Space Pandas in Ilum! They can bobble around, carry pistols and reduce your frame rate! Need is for need.

    the definition for a "mmo failing" is quite different from the players and the investors/devs PoV , just today this came out of Trion regarding Rift :

    Don't think I'm actually playing a game at the moment that requires maintenance. Only been playing sc2 mods this week.

    Metketh, is that pure profit or just turnover? I'm assuming that amount doesn't factor in development costs and the large scale advertising it did?

    Mind you that amount of money In 10 months on what I considered a failure just shows why mmos keep being launched.

    I know, its just not like companies to say it that way. It normally pre tax profits or some other denomination.

    Also on that article, it says trion raised $185 million dollars in investments in 5 years. I'm unsure as to whether these are counted as loans, maybe those in the industry will tell us.

    Just because you consider it to be a failure, doesn't mean that it actually is a failure. There are tons of ppl out there who already think that swtor is a failure, but it's far from being a failure.
