First up, you need to know if your item is enchantable or not. eg. Unenchantable: If it is enchantable, it will have a +3/6/9 underneath the item. For example: I need +3 enchant to activate the bonus stat on the item. Every level of enchant will add to the item stats ( not just activating the bonus when you get to the bonus level ). To enchant items, you need some reagents, purchaseable from the general goods vendors for 262gold a pop, and a similar level item to the one you wish to enchant. You simply press T, drag the item to the box that pops up ( assuming you have sufficient reagents - it will automatically add them ), and then drag the item you wish to destroy to try and enchant. The additional item will be lost, however if the enchanting process FAILS, the base item will likely not delevel. You can CRITICAL FAIL in which case it will go from eg +4 to +3. but it's a low % chance. eg my item is +4, and my enchant fails - my item is still +4. Reagent: THE ITEM YOU WISH TO DESTROY MUST BE THE SAME TYPE AS THE ITEM YOU WISH TO ENCHANT. eg you need boots to try and enchant boots.
