    Hey guys,

I'm having difficulties finding either a company or a contractor to do in-wall data cabling for a private residence in SW London. (with decent hourly rates) In case someone knows someone, who knows someone who does it

Buy an amount of cat5e/cat6. Call a plasterer and say that you want it cut into the wall from here to there. Crimp the ends yourself. :p

I have done this in my own home ediz.

I am on the road atm but will be home on Monday night and will send you a pm with details.

Wall type (brick or stud partition) will decide the overall costs involved though.

i know necromancy.. and yes "cool story disclaimer"..

Finally got my shit sorted - Had the electrician to do it properly in-wall with sockets in every room leading to understairs cabinet - Just ordered more cables for the switch -

Also had a nice chat with the Virgin tech dude, my fiber optic line was due for a supercharged upgrade in October; he did it right away.
