Well my Roccat Kave was getting worse by the second and finally gave up the ghost tonight.Seems the female connector dislodged itself from the headset so i'm looking for a decent new headset.

GoGo geek squad or nerd herd. Not sure what most of you are :p

Depends on how much you want to spend. I bought a Logitech G35 as it is digitally simulated 7.1 surround sound and it's great for gaming and watching movies if people are asleep and I can't use my speakers. Expensive though.

Steer clear of razor headsets. They break really easy.

Funny, if you check the 350mk2s ( pc 360 ) part of the ad blurb:

Practical microphone mute – automatically mute the microphone by raising the boom.

Mute the mic! By lifting it away from your face!

    genius new technology!

They forget there is actually an on/off switch on the chord as well as volume adjustment? lol.

Steelseries if you want to roll gamerkid style.
AKG if you want really solid and not complete robbery headphones. We used to have several AKG in my studio, they were amazing.

I had like 140s 150s 151s etc, or whatever before I went for the 350s.
They are really really good quality and will do just fine.

They actually look great. I prefer over ear headphones though :(

Not entierly sure what brand/style you mean with the over ear-headphones. I know AKG make no neckband ones, if that's what you meant?

I think he means like headsets instead of In-ear headphones.

EDIT: Just re read what he said, I dont know what he means either..

I mean like, ones that cover your ears rather than sit on top of them.

Oh yeah. I don't know about their gaming phones, just the sound-ones, and those are over-ear. :)
